Helping my husband wake up, need advice.

my husband is dfed but he is a prime example of someone who was a puppet for the watchtower.

i was able to wake him a little with the sex abuse scandal.

he was an elder and is very familiar with those rules.

Whynot does your husband hold alot of guilt for being DF especially since he was a elder. The indoctrination men go through when becoming a elder deals with alot of guilt. Always being told you need to do it this or that way. Are you secretly sining some way such as looking at porn. They constantly tell you are nothing but a good for nothing slave. All this makes a person self worth non-existent. I knew on person who was a elder commit suicide for looking at porn another who had a nervous breakdown for not being a good enough elder.

I say this because it will make a person to prove to themselve they are good and spiritually approved before god. Cults do very strange things to people and especially to those who had responsible in the cult and guilt plays a major problem. Take from a person who was a elder for 25 years. at a local meeting, one of the elders said that if jesus were on the earth today 'you can be sure' he would be preaching by showing videos on a tablet.. i kid you not.. i wonder what videos he'd be playing?.

We have a friend who lost her husband last year. She called us about week after he died and told us she got a letter and a pamphlet from a jw. It surprised her because she didn't even know this person. We reassured her that this is what some jw do to get in field service time and not to worry. We found out most people do not realize how organized the wt is in their endeavor to get their message out. Still Totally ADD

the conservatives have won in ontario and the liberals who held power there for 15 years crashed so hard they didn't get enough seats to even retain official party status.

people are sick of them and the mess they make!.

Both of us loved his shows. So sad😥. Amen Lost in the fog Amen. I heard suicide is up 30% since the early 2000's. Mental illness in this country has always been a subject not spoken much of until some horrible event takes place but never a serious conversation or a good solution to address the problem. Yes minimus how ignorant liberals are. They believe in evolution, they believe in separation of church and state, they don't think wind mills will slow down the earth rotation, they believe everyone is entitled to good health care, they feel social security is a good idea and should not be privatize, they feel everyone is equal, they believe science not what some bat shit fundamentalist preacher has to say, believe everyone should have a good education by not taking money away from schools and giving it to building more prisons.
